I can't believe ipswich fans are that daft to think that this is only a matter of "we can't afford your wages" If the guy played for us (like he can) and didn't sit on his sorry half-drunk ass for 2 years we would gladly have paid the money. Fact is he has a couple decent games and then you'll gradually start agreeing with us.
You only know the media side of the story and you're too fickle to realise that we probably know a lot more of the real story than you lot do.


I don't know how much you lot are going to be paying him but i would advise you to never wish him to "break a leg". If you build your team around him with hopes that he will make everything happen, you're ****ed. Plain simple. The moment he has a little niggle, it'll turn into a 4 weeks off.

I'm glad you lot are happy. I'm not suggesting you should be angry, I'm just warning you to be very careful with the gloating and the big grins on your faces. You've signed a player as prone to injury as Hargreaves (if not more), who has a couple brilliant games a season, can't tackle, doesn't do much running, likes to party, come late to training and who will be lucky to feature in more than 10 games a season.

If you are lucky most of these will be wrong but don't be naive, he doesn't deserve it.
 
PS: i have nothing against Ipswich fans, I'm just happy he's gone as he was creating a terrible vibe at the club, not a great role model for all the youngsters we have. I just think you ought to be clever about this and not blind happy. It could be a great signing or a terrible one, hope you're aware of that.

I think you've hit the nail on the head. Do you really think that any business would be so stupid? The Hull City owners are astute businessmen and no self respecting business penalises their star talent without good reason...

Personally, don't give a stuff about what fans of other clubs think. We've taken a risk and, taking to account what he did for us last season and the dire predicament we're in right now, I think it's one well worth taking!
