Really hope this isn't the end of Maynard Iggy, he was showing a lot of promise as he gained full fitness.I believe it was the same injury though that ended the Swansea lad Bodde's playing career.
Much younger and a better pro IMO. If either of Maynards knees go again then maybe some comparison could be drawn. Plenty of players have recovered and had great careers after cruciate tears, Bullard had more problems than just bad Knees......
Yes Jimmy does like a drop to drink etc and Maynard seems a more steady character, hopefully Maynard will make a full recovery before the end of the season for the final push and then proove himself at the higher level.
