I tend to agree but I must question exactly how many goals to shots mingolet ****s up and this stat of worst saves to goals ratio.

We all know he drops clangers right.... but what goals have we conceded that we think a top top keeper would stop... or would a top keeper improve lovren panics etc etc.

I just don't know. I just think a top keeper would improve us a little and as such 3 or4 other players would do the same to build the whole picture.

Cbs that don't panic, communicate, don't lose their mean easily, actually clear the ball.
No 6 that stays goal side, passes quickly but accurately to drive our game but has the brains to take the heat out of a situation if needed.
Full backs who don't panic and havk at people, full backs who stop crosses....

Like... i think we all know the score at this point.

Either klavan has lost his man or mingolet is fast asleep or lovren is panicked or Moreno has lost his marbles cos someone said hi at ht... or Gomez thinks he's all day at back stick... or Henderson is 30 yards out of position... or anyone of our player just hack at it and dont even get it out of our box.

The same old stuff occurs. Most of our goals ha e one or more of those errors

Ehh, really? He's close to being top to the all time errors leading to goal list. He's an absolute calamity. He's almost conceded as many goals as he's made saves, its a terrible ratio.

but how many goals can you put him.down to just on his own?

as I was saying on its own replacing him won't be enough

I reckon we are looking at him costing us at about 5-10 points this season already.

    2 v arsenal MAYBE

    no v city.
no v spurs. lovren did the business there to save his blushes

    so what about the draws

    Burnley?
newkie no deffo not his error. matip/lovren
    west Brom nope
    Everton nope. lovren
chelsea. might be very harsh to give that freak cross down against him..
utd nope 0-0 and saved us so a point gained

the issue is I don't see these points. not directly. if suddenly our ****e cbs become amazing with confidence is a keeper ok but hes not cost us points on his own this season.

even saying the arsenal result is down to him alone is harsh.

the facts as I see them is his time is up but guys are being overly harsh with the case against these guys.

Great post, the problem is it does not suit the agenda of the haters, you know those fans who have to have a hate figure and blame all their teams ills on that one person. What is really worrying is that in the past most of those people have focused on player eg Lucas but no we have that many shyte players you could pick about five as that hate figure.

Did you see the chart a posted? It's pretty dismal reading. Ok it doesn't tell you what the chances were etc but to be the lowest for save percentage, is pretty abysmal

I did. So where are The goals he should have saved?

That's my point.... there's not that many I would call savable as most of the time I see others **** up and him having no chance....

As I said he should go but I am not seeing 5 or 10 points loss due to him. I do probably see it off the system employed or lovren lunacy or Moreno dim bulbisms..

It's simply a matter of which clown ****ed up this time for me.

My point is until they ALL go we will just be waiting for them to **** it up

Have you already forgotten about the Watford game? Also he was poor Vs Spurs, he didn't cover himself in glory for the first goal, I'd say that most goalies in the prem would've dealt with that better than Mignolet did. Just because someone else made an error doesn't mean he wasn't to blame at all.

I have no agenda whatsoever, to claim I blame everything on Mignolet because I have an agenda is ridiculous. I blame Mignolet for his mistakes, its not my fault he makes a lot of them.

If I clearly remember goals Mignolet should had saved
2013/2024 Against Manchester city - they went on to win the league
2017/2018 Against Arsenal at the Emirates. It ended 3:3
Your fault because you sanctioned it when Rodgers bought him from Sunderland .

Watford... we were 3-2 up no? Wijnaldum dropped the ball and 2 points there
Spurs yes awful but lovren gave 2 goals and mingolet 1 for sure.

    I just don't see the 5 or 10mpoints sorry.

He's annoying but hes not the magic bullet. We need at least 3 new players to fix it

I reckon you can look at things requiring change as far forward as midfield. There is no protection for the defence from the midfield, countless times teams have been able to walk right up to our box without being challenged. Sometimes you feel like its tough being a defence in this side with no Fernandinho/Kante/Matic/ type as all the other top 4 challenging clubs have.at present.

Maybe Keita will change that but looking at his high number of goals/assists he doesn't seem like that type of player to me?

No, I don't think he's THE problem, we've had too many problems with different personnel to just blame one guy, but he is a large part of the problem in my eyes.

    Yes I agree.

Gk, lcb and no 6 and then we should be talking. Keita will imo take wijnaldum place in team at best

Migs is a problem and he instills no confidence in those in front of him.

As other have said, he’s just part of the problem. He needs upgrading ASAP.

I am not sure Jordan Henderson can continue to be holding midfielder next season. He is injury prone and lightweight.

In a nutshell. I don't think we'll see the best of him until next season tbh, or at least a couple of months. Which is going to put pressure on him and Klopp, as for that fee people will be expecting performances from him asap.
