Hull City Council has had a very positive meeting with Assem and Ehab Allam in relation to a number of areas of shared concern and has made good progress in resolving them to the mutual satisfaction of both parties.

Hull City Council Leader, Cllr Stephen Brady said: “We had a very good discussion about some well publicised issues, relations between the Superstadium Management Company and its owners and the Council, and our clear shared desire to redevelop a good relationship focused on the continuing success of our city. This relationship is an important one for the city and I am pleased that we will now be able to build on it in a positive way. Whilst some issues will take time to resolve, there is a clear commitment from both sides to doing so and rebuilding our working relationship, with initial steps having already been taken in that regard.”

Assem Allam said: “Our meeting with the Leader of the Council, Cllr Stephen Brady, Cllr Daren Hale and Chief Executive, Matt Jukes, was a very positive one. We are optimistic that the constructive discussions taking place between us will continue which will help to re-establish a more positive working relationship between the parties. That in turn will hopefully enable us to work together to, if possible, find solutions to any points upon which we have our differences. Indeed, as a gesture of goodwill and in the spirit of increased co-operation between the parties, we have informed Hull City Council that the Superstadium Management Company have made arrangements to re-erect upon the West Stand of the KCom Stadium the Hull City Council sign which was removed in October 2017, and will also shortly be reinstating a bronze plaque at the West Stand Entrance to the KCom Stadium.”

So basically, there was a meeting, where nothing in particular was discussed worthy of note, but nobody fell out or terminated the meeting, which in itself was a massive success.
Next time, AA will ask the council to give him the stadium, the council will tell him to p*ss off and they will be back to square one.
Sounds a good use of taxpayers money does this.

Tick tock we're slipping into the bottom 3 and the transfer window is closing.

Where better to focus your attention than on some childish confected spat with the corporation about signage?

Just like last year when they focused their attention on corner-cutting groundsmen rather than trying to prevent relegation

Oh they'll still be here John. I can tell you this though. It's bloody horrible not going to City.

I'm sure you are right, I never thought I would come to this decision, but I'm a corporate member, so it is not small money we are talking about, and I just can't stomach anymore the feeling of giving them this amount of money every year.

I thought that John , Your living overseas. Correction needed I presume.

Just burnt my bridge and cancelled our memberships.

Youngest lad refused to go while Allams still around and now eldest lad who is as loyal as they come can't be bothered any more and doesn't want to go to the Leeds game so what's the point in carrying on.

What a ****ing **** state of affairs. I love the City that was but can't stand it any more with these **** stains "running" the club. I have nothing but utter contempt for the vindictive lying ****s who drip feed poison wherever they go.

52 bastard years I've been supporting City and I never felt so low about the club. Lots of happy memories that I will treasure until the day I die. Hopefully the Allams will **** off soon and I can spend time with my sons again watching City whichever league we've sunk to.

Forgot to add my grandad started going 99 years ago after WW1 ended and my dad after WW2 ended. Nearly a 100 years of a family tradition broken by a pair of ****s.
