we are away from home so have to expect some pressure, stage one keep the clean sheet, small improvements every game now will be very happy with 0-1 win
Clean sheet will sort him out. Come on City. Is Lafferty on his own up top then? I know a few have been calling for it. Not so sure myself. How's he looking?
He's putting himself around a bit, but when we're very much on the back foot he's not seeing a lot of the ball. Perhaps been a bit unlucky not to have had more opportunities. Link up play has been generally good, and he's won a lot in the air.
Full time and that's 3 points, earned by being the less crap side on the day I'd say. Still, a recovery has to start somewhere, and a clean sheet away and 3 points is as good a place as any. Hopefully we start to rebuild and get some confidence back into the side. Up to 8th and 2 points off the play-offs. Our fans were in excellent voice too.
points in the bags guys, small positives but like you say we have to start somewhere, clean sheet is the major positive, im still unsure on ruddy though after those drops today, still worth giving Rudd a shot?
Full credit KIO - where have you been of late! IMO, that was a very complete and professional away win. Every player worked hard and was fully commited. Solid defence and a clean sheet for Ruddy. I'll take that! OTBC!
You'd normally call Ruddy the most well-rounded goalkeeper, with Rudd being a good shot-stopper. But if Ruddy isn't doing the all-round stuff as well, it certainly begs the question. With that said, a settled back 5 is a must for me, and messing around with 'keepers isn't going to help.
