I keep reading the 'luck' word. Wasn't it Worthington that said you have to make your own luck in this game? Wise words indeed and we certainly seem to be playing positively enough to create bags of luck - long may it continue.
There is no luck, you make your own. Played 9, top of the league on 20 points. It's like the people who moan about Grabban. Total insanity. I think some people like something to moan about.

I don't see the need to be critical or complaining a lot myself, but this is a forum for people to voice their opinions. It's not like people are being over dramatic, wanting your team to carry on improving and getting better isn't a negative thing and I like hearing peoples thoughts and their ideas, good or bad, it's why I come on this forum.
Perhaps I was a bit harsh DH, but it seems to me that we now live in a world where we look back at everything being great under Lambert (when it wasn't), and Grant Holt scored on every chance that he had (which he didn't). We now expect perfection and downgrade a win when it isn't. Yes, had Grabban taken that excellent chance he had in the first half we would probably won more easily, but you have to give credit to the opposition. Blackpool raised their game today and made it hard for us, but we stuck to our game and came through in the end. The own goal was a bit of luck, but it was luck we forced by having players threatening in the box. Grabban's second goal wasn't a huge deflection as some have said - it was a shot on target which IMO would have gone in without the deflection, which is why he has been credited with the goal. Josh's goal was a superb run and finish in the style of Huckerby that should be celebrated.
I let the first few digs go but there were about 4 or 5 posters mocking me for trusting Adams and our strikers. Funnily enough they shut up when Grabban put us ahead. That's why I rate you and Welly as 2 of the best contributors on here. I had someone totally twisting my statements and backing it up with some crap about ellipses on Tuesday. (Flounces off)..

They did us a big favour Welly in retrospect! They gave us the big kick up the arse that we needed and since then our form has been awesome. I'm happy with the way the table looks tonight BUT I only hope that it looks as good for us come this time next week!
You know, some people prefer their points to be argued against rather than being derided and insulted, but to each their own. I believe I apologised for the ellipses confusion, if not, sorry. Oh I was worried, not going to deny it. We won't come back from behind in every game, I just hope when that run ends there's some clean air between our two clubs! What a turnaround for your lot since the derby, at this rate the return fixture won't be quite the formality I was hoping for. I thought the O.G. was thoroughly deserved, we forced the pressure with (I think) a free-kick then two corners, and if Daniels hadn't put it in I think a yellow (or black and maroon..) short would have. Josh's goal deserves all the praise it gets, it was wonderful and at this rate he'll be giving Redmond lessons. And I think I can accept I'm looking back with Premier-League tinted spectacles, under Hughton it seemed like we had one chance a game and if it went we'd never get another, whilst I need to adjust to this level and having faith that we'll create another good opening.
DH if someone says i just like to be contrary to annoy people or when you totally twisted my praise of Ayala and back tracked with some pseudo intellectual garbage about ellipses I am well within my rights to call these warped opinions of myself horse ****...

Dave sorry to change the subject but when you posted the photo of of the view from my house as a public thread was it because you thought I was lying or because you were genuinely interested?. A PM would have been more appropriate especially from a Moderator. I am pissed off because I'm in Spain and it's been pissing down all day so I am going stir crazy in the house. I didn't mention Grabban today until a few posts designed to goad me on this thread . Since I was unbanned a few see me as an easy target so I bite back. I was never given an explanation as to why I was indefinately banned either by anyone. There is a pack mentality and unless you agree with the majority it would appear that you leave yourself open to digs . Feel free to start threads mocking my dodgy spelling etc I can take a joke but it's not cool sharing my adress on a forum that anyone can access. Rant over.
