I just don't understand what Adams is trying to do here. Surely he can see 4-4-2 is causing us all sorts of problems. Grabban might as well not be playing. Jerome has won a few headers but other wise done little. Wes is all over the place in the worst possible way. Redmond has given the ball away about 3 times and little more. Tettey and Johnson have been pretty awful, can't pass for toffee and keep fouling players. Both now on yellows. Very little over lapping from the full backs. We have an abundance of mid-fielders and we are completely by passing that area of the pitch!
I have to say, despite our good start I've had my doubts in every game. Something just hasn't felt quite right.

Agreed. We have to remember the sheer quality of this squad in comparison to most in this division. Almost anyone would get this squad in the top six. Adams needs to start proving he has the wherewithal to do more.
I feel we could quite easily go 4-3-3 with the 2 wing backs here. Blackpool are not really offering much of a threat, and our biggest problem is ourselves with the wrong formation.
Signs of improvement towards the end of that half but if there aren't changes at half time then I can see us really struggling.
Totally agree. the ball keeps going into Tettey and Johnson, then they look up and have no one to pass to, it goes back to the defence and we hoof it forward. Or they try something fancy, lose the ball and Blackpool get the chance to attack us!
