I believe any new ground will be a multi-functional arena focused around season football and then designed to draw in concerts and events. Hence Mr Beards previous experience with the O2!
As mentioned if Fulham are maxed out, that means overflow moving across to an up and coming team with a new state of the art venue.
We have a good core of fans, that won't change; casual supporters coming in will only benefit the future of the club as they buy their tickets and spend their money around the arena on match days. If it comes to fruition... it will be a great thing (if the current board meet their vision!).
Can hear the board right now..... “I’ve started so I’ll finish”

Aim higher. 35000 to start with and an option to add on but not like mk dons soulless place! Easy to see why we need it. When we had a 27500 capacity it would regularly sell out for any big games. The league has moved on with far greater interest now. It won't be full every week but you can't afford to turn away 5000 fans paying £50 a head for the big games when they can't get in. That would equate to 250,000 in ticket sales before you get to food, drink programmes etc etc

reallistically TF & co must not just look at capacity, executive boxes, corperate functions and flexability (not sharing) in use must also be looked at,yes 30+K seems gettable,if we really want to move forward these considerations must be looked at,yeh I know f***ing theme park I hear!!, but if we compete with the big boys its a road we must take, stay small and get eaten and spat out with all the other great clubs in the past.

Consider the bonkers past we have in relation to stadia, I'd like to stay put. Be Happy to squeeze £25k in to be Frank.

We have a history at the loft to move would be a sad day.

Lets not forget if it's not a premier london tie it wont be full (with obvious exceptions)

You're right of course but from what everyone speculates it will be at least 4-5 years before we could have a new stadium ready to occupy. That being the case then we will have to live with that crazy economic equation well into the future. That's why I get a bit annoyed that the initial focus is on the new training facilities instead of a new stadium (that and the fact that the bogs in the Ellerslie are a major health hazard).

    It would fill for
    Liverpool
    Arsenal
    Manure
    Man city
    Spuds
    Chelsea
    West ham
    Fulham ?
That is virtually 50% of all home games! We sold out most games this year, if attendances were down it was due to lack of away fans such as Wigan / stoke etc. I wouldn't underestimate the pulling power of the premier league brand that has been built.

4-5 to build and a further 2-3 to significantly grow the brand and the club to sell out 30k most weeks.
Means you are looking at 6-8 years of significant loss making.
It makes me think TF is looking at this as a buy - improve - sell proposition. Pump the money in for those years in order to sell on for a big capital gain.

    Sound familiar at all?

Yes there is...arranging to take a bunch of clients / mates to a game and not being able to get a decent seat or seats together is worse...!!
