No offence taken. Apart from the closet Mag bit. Outrages.
My posts of late have been a bit on the gloomy side yet I've never had a dig at the supporters (MrRAWhite it was who called us ****e), I actually said we have the best fans in the World. I've not had a pop at the manager, I simply posted something I'd heard regarding Sunderland. Isn't that the point of these boards? Transfer day would be pretty dull without without the endless gossip. Maybe you just like to hear positives, anything negative makes me a Mag? No mate I'm just being realistic.
To reach the magic 40 mark (a target set by Gus) we need to achieve a win rate no Sunderland manager has ever achieved in Premiership history. This on the back of the worst start in Premiership history.
Can we do it? Hell yeah. Will we do it? I doubt it.

This is what makes Sunderland such a hard job for any manager ......... they say something and it's instantly debated to the death and carved in stone.

Yeah, he's set us a target that would keep us up, what option does he have?

Perhaps we'll need 35 which throws your percentage figure out completely and then we wouldn't need "to achieve a win rate no Sunderland manager has ever achieved in Premiership history."

No need to keep posting, "This on the back of the worst start in Premiership history," we all know and besides, Cest has already managed to squeeze it into 3 other threads.

We know the negatives, we know the task ......... you repeat them as much as you wish but I don't have to like them.

Saying we're doomed in October is your prerogative, I just think it's poor.

I didn't call you a Mag btw, I just said that the way some people seem to enjoy our plight makes people wonder.

What really annoys me is that if we win the next 3 games they'll be back on the 'optimism bandwagon' saying,

"Don't remind me I said we were already relegated, can't we all just get on with supporting the club and not argue."

But while they're 'winning' they'll argue with anyone and everyone because they know their prediction can't be proved wrong until virtually the end of the season

By then they know that people won't be bothered to remind them because they'll be too busy celebrating the fact we stayed up and got to Wembley <laugh>

    I can't abide hypocrites mesel.

No one is enjoying it. far from it.
I'll be damned I'm going to ignore the fact we are crapper than we have ever been just at a time we need to be better than we have ever been. And yes I will keep posting it, cause it's relevant.
Why has Gus set a target of 40 if as you say 35 may do? It wont by the way.
You can pretend all you like mate. Fact is, we are up to our necks in it.
By the way the "We are doomed" comment was meant to be tongue in cheek. Sorry if you didn't get that.

You really do hang on my every word....Bless you...<laugh>

    CyprusMackem,

"You need to have very big gahoonas to support our shower of ****e.
That said a loss Sunday would see us in a fight we simply will not win."

That tongue in cheek anarl ....................

I'm not 'pretending' anything .......... I know we're up to our necks in it but I refuse to be a quitter with 30 games, most of the season, a transfer window due and a new manager.

Nope. Deadly serious. It's my firm opinion defeat Sunday will see us down come May. I also said a victory and we could turn it around. You must of missed that bit.
While your delving into my past please feel free to show all my supposed digs at the fans, manager or the club. And yes the players are ****e. What would you call 1 point from a possible 24? Acceptable?

    Delving into your past <doh>

FFS man, these are things you've just said ....... are we supposed to take everything you say as 'tongue in cheek' or do you actually mean any of it?

As far as having a go at the fans and manager and club, I'm sure I could find quotes but I don't want to be accused of stalking you. Let's just say I was wrong.

Yep. As usual you were. Very very wrong.

The comment above should in no way be taken as Tongue in cheek. Just to clarify.

So, to clarify, you didn't actually mean we're doomed, although you said we were, unless we lose on Sunday ........ then we are doomed.

Still no proof to back up your slanderous comments? Damn.

No mate we aint doomed if we lose Sunday..Relegation certainties IMO but not doooomed. I would however like to think we'll win or at the very least draw then like I said before we just may turn it around.

I can find proof, if you like, but you'll only say it was 'tongue in cheek' or that I've taken it out of context ......... I know the game, seen it on here for years.

You said we were 'so doomed' without any other comment or little winkey fella or owt.

Now you're backtracking and saying we're not doomed if we lose on Sunday, despite saying, ".... a loss Sunday would see us in a fight we simply will not win."

If that isn't doomed what is it, more 'tongue in cheek' <doh>

Doomed would imply the club would go out of business. I don't see that happening any time soon...Phew
For the umptheenth time. Defeat Sunday = Relegation IMO IMO IMO IMO IMO.
I take it opinions are allowed?

It might if you were talking about clubs going out of business but you were responding to a post about relegation.

"Hull Tigers fan in peace...... I'm aware through a good friend who's job it is to analyse teams, players, managers etc. that Gus Poyet was the most highly rated manager outside of the premier league - in fact he was rated better than a fair few in there already. You have a good manager - it just depends how good your team is. Good luck for the rest of the season, so long as you finish a point beneath us...."

Your response was "We are so doomed."

You're backtracking, but you'll pontificate and split hairs on grammar until I get bored .............. errrrrr, boredom point reached.

BTW, I love opinions and love it even more when people have the balls to stick to what they've said.

I suspect that's really not the case but, then again, that could just be 'tongue in cheek' as it's you.

I expected you'd scurry off when you didn't have an answer ........
