Not sure who was marking who but it was Davies who failed to challenge Weimann when he was perfectly positioned to do so. He was like a rabbit in the headlights for much of the game.,

He wasn't perfectly positioned to challenge at all, he was rightfully in the central CH area when Bruce was meant to be on our right, Bruce came inside and hid behind Davies. Davies was behind the man as it wasn't his job to mark that space so couldn't compete in the air.

If you watch the Tunnel cam, no wonder Davies was off his game, he spent more time before the game hugging and high fiving the opposition.
