just heard a clip of buckles interview that took place today.
it was about campbell. nothing about the game itself. this is what he said (going by memory). its not a lot as was just a clip of his interview that was on the news on radio bristol.
buckle said....
* new contract offered to campbell on tuesday
* campbell not happy with it
* campbell then became unwell and too ill to play
* that messed things up for the vale game
* therefore had to chuck norburn in at the deep end and play him
* therfore left us short in midfield on bench
* confirmed he has offered campbell to clubs
* while campbell is here he is in buckles plans
from his tone of voice, to me it sounded like he blames campbell for the defeat against port vale and that he didnt believe campbell was unwell and rather campbell was gone. again thats what it sounded like to me.
