Had carp to 20lb from the River Orb next to house and they have taken me 30 mins plus to get in Amazing natural fish I catch barbel down there and have had 60 fish in one sitting to 8lb It's so good that I plan to run fishing holidays in the future Roach had them to 2:6 and I get them from Warnham in Dorset Hardest fish to catch the big ones on a river Love my fishing also
Rather than a bucket list there are loads of things that I would like to say that I've done, but lack the courage to do, such as skydiving, bungee jumping, potholing and anything else remotely requiring any sort of backbone.
I strongly recommend it. If you have not been there, stop off at Grand Canyon on the way ( slight detour! )and get up or stay until dawn to see it then. If you are fit ish, take a walk down to the bottom away from the main tourist ones. Take a tent, you need to camp a couple of nights. The walk up again is tough. Certainly worthwhile and one of the most amazing places I have seen.
Cheers Oslo, been to Grand Canyon and camped on the ridge, sunset and sunrise, and a flight over - yes, truly amazing. I've also hiked to Everest Base Camp - exhausting but also a once in a lifetime trip. Bungee jumped in NZ, walked over top of Sydney Harbour Bridge, visited Alcatraz, Summer Solstice at Stonehenge, watched a space launch from Kennedy Space Centre among other things, so done a fair bit, but Machu Pichu seems to have a draw - would also like to go to Iceland to see good Northern Lights (we get them here sometimes, but too much light polution) - bet you get them good over there? Spent a bit of time in Finland, but they were never active when I was there
I seen bits of what was supposedly the northern lights near Oslo, but you need to go much further north in the winter. Everything else pulls me south! I'm in Thailand a lot now, but we do hope to get to Australia and NZ where I have never been before too long.
