Bravo Bruno. I'm very pleased for him. He's had so much bad luck in his career so far, hopefully this is the break he needs. And hopefully, this year's car is better than last year's. Well, it couldn't get much worse..
Good for Bruno, shame about Barrichello though. Would have liked to see him get to 20 seasons, can't see him going to HRT though...
Jamesallenonf1 James Allen #f1 First contact between Senna and Williams was in Japan last season. In December they did a thorough evaluation of him.
Good for Bruno, but now Williams have 2 money drivers with no experience, I can see why Sam and Patrick left.
If he brings in money that is important for Williams right now. Yes there are more deserving drivers who should get a chance but money talks and unfortunately Williams are turning into a pay-driver team.
but no one's going to say Bruno got the primarily on the basis of talent...but I hope he can prove the doubters wrong

He finally gets a proper go in a real car, lets see what he can do. As much as Maldonado gets stick he has put in some pretty good performances, so Williams has become a bit of a 'last chance saloon' for F1 drivers, lets hpe they have something worth driving, having the Renault Engine has to be a step up though. Edit: woof woof.
HRT, or maybe Caterham? Benson seems certain that Caterham are going to replace Trulli with Petrov, which I've not heard from anywhere else. If he has got more financial backing than Trulli, and he's got more experience, then he could potentially end up there. Caterham might be competitive enough for him to consider.
Congratulations to Bruno. Now Senna needs to consistently outperform Maldonado. If he can't do that, he shouldn't be in F1.
Well you can't say he hasn't been given chances. Hopefully for Williams he can do the job many think he is capable of.
Congratulations to Bruno Senna. I remember saying at the time that Suzuka was his big opportunity but his performance that weekend was shabby. However, although I felt this was his critical moment, I was not aware of Williams' interest at the time. Clearly Sir Frank was not concerned about his poor driving. However, since his Suzuka performance, Sennab has produced some good drives, one of which was particularly impressive. I wish him well and hope that Sir Frank can revive the fortunes of his team with the extra money…
It had to be him as soon as Sutil's standing trial was announced. You can say all you want about money but Barichello is the wrong side of 40 now. Senna is younger and I would say he deserves a shot in a proper car. If he messes up I don't doubt Williams will let him go.
Yes very pleased with this news . Good luck bruno for 2012 i hope you beat the crap out of maldonado and put him in his place . Just one question guys ,why are most people saying the williams car will be good this year just because they decided to change engine suppliers. Does anyone know how much power loss between cosworth and renault engines were last year ? EDIT : Percentage wise
