good result, good Result. He has proven he can overtake, sure they are lesser cars but the lesser cars have been strong this weekend and off course the other drivers are more comfortable with a season or 2 in the cars so he had to work for points and did it!
He defeated Buemi, Maldonado, Barrichello and the new teams. 9th might sound good but I'm still not convinced with this pay driver.
Senna had a very good race; was unlucky to lose out at the start through no fault of his own and then drove a very good recovery race to get 9th and was one lap short of getting 8th. Senna just needs to keep driving like he is and eventually he will win over the doubters. Although I am sure if he make any tiny mistakes they will be snapped up straight away.
Well I'm convinced he deserves his drive coming from last to 9th you can't really fault it can you? But I know some people will but who cares about them
Exactly, and I think Rosberg, Petrov, Sutil, and Perez would have beaten him if they didn't have to retire. Maybe Kobayashi as well.
If there was not a SC we would not of dropped places at the start and instead would of been 10th at the start so could of easily still scored points and maybe more than 9th place.
In my opinion, which is what the BBC pundits said too is that it was a really solid drive from Bruno. Second race ever in this car with Pirelli tyres and he is scoring good points! If his nose hadnt been damaged in the first corner melee he could quite possibly have gotten 8th or even 7th! Well done Bruno - proves that he does deserve the seat!
I'm prepared to eat my words. Bruno Senna today proved he belongs in F1. And to think i called him a waste of time and a no hoper......
Bravo Bruno. Great overtake on Buemi, just when it looked like it becoming a repeat of Schumi and Hamilton. Once again, he kept his head and drove back through the field.
And just to let you know that he set the 4th fastest lap time - 1.26.895 only 7 tenths slower than Button and faster than both Ferrari.
wooo a great solid performance by Bruno! From about last after being caught in the 1st corner incident to finishing 9th. You can't really ask for more this being his 2nd race. Job well done! I cant wait to see how he (hopefully) improves during the rest of the season and earn a full time seat. After the renault downfall (Briatore-Piquet) 2 years ago, its great to see the team now have three great drivers (hoping Kubica will recover) to maybe soon be a championship contender again. Only question is, who the reserve/test driver would be... I think they are all three great. Being a huge fan of Ayrton, I would love to see Bruno continue to improve and keep the legacy alive(is that correct english? legacy? Sounds good in my head but english is only my 3rd language )
