This reminds me of signing Batty somewhat, when he started out great, then our midfield became a huge mess. Not sure Joelinton-Tonali-Bruno is working, would be worth putting Joelinton into attack ahead of Miggy, and sticking Longstaff is midfield. When is Willock back? Feck knows.
The trouble with Batty was: 1. He didn’t take on responsibility especially in the latter part of his time 2. He passed square and backwards 3. His 60 metre (when stretched) rubber band round his waist was attached to our goal 4 He was one dimensional Apart from that he was perfect.

He's top player just the side isn't playing great and like you say he's not being used correctly. We've also been playing the best teams in the country If not the world. The other teams target him and of the rest of the team was playing better so could he.
No but I also don't think he is above criticism of performance and I dont think "the fanbase" should be criticised for suggesting someone else may deserve to start ahead of him in the next game.
You can't replace him with a better player and the fans as he said have short memories. I don't know why but it's always the better players people go after when they get upset. Longstaff was on the pitch for 4 of the 7 goals we conceded and Anderson played too. These goals came in around 60 mins of the 360 played in total, so if that's seen as an improvement then I must be on glue. We've played 2 of the best sides in the world plus Brighton away which most clubs will struggle against.
