I thought we played well, not perfect but we battled and showed a bit of heart. To be honest we should've put a few more past them and probably deserved to do so. I was plopping it at the end in those final 15 mins or so, all we seemed to be doing was punting it towards Torres who wasn't there!
I thought Cahill was MOTM and Mikel put in the best shift I've seen from him in years! Made me eat my words.

Drogs--Cahill was first class, Branna, Cech and Mata( penalty
) were up there close as well! I know he's under the cosh but even Torres did some useful stuff.He shouln't have shirked the penalty though!

Yeah he had a great game but Cahill saved us on many occasions!

. Torres was the same old same old, sadly I don't think he'll ever find his old scoring boots in a blue shirt.Muppet needs to bust a nut to get in the box every once in a while!Yeah he had a great game but Cahill saved us on many occasions!

I was at the game and thought Luiz was excellent. Cahill played well as did Mata, but Ramires was the most impressive watched live. Merielles was absolutley crap, his passing was off, generally either passed back sideways or gave the ball away, then he scored a cracker.
LOL.
Took 3400 for an Cup NIGHT game v a small club that was LIVE ON TERRESTIAL with our club in disarray...
You only took 3,000 for a Sat DAY game 3pm kick off NOT LIVE on TV for a day out in the big smoke, on the back of a very good run. And returned 3000 tickets.
