Westy I admire your optimism but we have developed this habit of conceding sloppy goals and we got lucky tonight with that stone bonking penalty that the ref didn't give! Henshall is turning into a liability with his attempts to defend in the penalty box. I hate to say it but we will be the underdogs on Saturday with the budgies showing good form. We nicked a point at the death away from home and on the face of it this is a good result but you must remember that Birmingham's home form has been dreadful and we should be looking to win these games. For me this was 2 points dropped!

Same for me Warky, Reading are absolute garbage at the moment and Brum not much better but we lost to one and struggled to get a point against the other, personally i think we will lose by a couple at least on Sat but boy do i hope im wrong!!

Do we have any dangerous players? There aren't many players bar McGoldrick who would scare many Championship defenders

I think there's a difference between flair and creative. Flair is often a luxury creativity should be a given and whilst players can make a difference how a manager sets his team up to play has the biggest influence on how creative a team is

I think he could be a decent player for us and I think Mick and TC will get the best out of him, I think he suits what they want from a striker. My issue is he certainly has less quality than Taylor and it's the fact we don't have a great deal of variety of type of player, all our players are average championship players who put in a shift. Bar Berra and Chambers I don't think any of our players would get in many other Championship teams

Of course we are surgeryman, we can't wait and I'm sure you'll be getting the usual warm welcome.

Seriously though, you lot must be the most bipolar fans out there, one week it's Neil Out and Sack the Board, the next week you're going to win the League...<laugh>

Is there a prozac shortage in Norfolk? ;)

I'd be more worried facing Henshall as a full back than Tabb that's for sure.

Marriott can hit the target but apparently that's not good enough. Mick's comments about him sums up everything he looks for in a player. He says that Jack needs to learn to be more than an out and out goal scorer.

    Why?

A striker normally becomes a striker because...
    (a) they can finish
    (b) they're poor at defending
and a defender becomes just that because...
    (a) he's crap at shooting
    (b) he can tackle/defend.

I don't get why Mick is so obsessed with having every player on the pitch capable of doing both. I'm not saying that Jack is the answer but FFS Mick, make room in the squad for attacking players who specialise in their position, not a bunch of jack of all trades, masters of none (sorry for the pun)

Can't argue with that Welly. Last night I thought Alexander Tettey was immense and got MOM, but some thought he was woeful! Amazing how people see things so differently. Mind you the old atmosphere is improving and we have had more entertainment in two games than the last two seasons at CR. Yes the Prem is where we want to be but trust me some of the football you see is awful due to the pressure of the money.

That's very true but I doubt many defenders have heard of him as he's unproven at basically every level

Completely agree. All players need to work hard for the team but not every player should be a defender first and being good on the ball second. Think Mick can should do more on working on players strengths rather than what seems like getting rid of any player who has a natural creative talent (bar Mcgoldrick). We need players who show attacking intent and abit of license to try the unexpected, unfortunately it all seems about defeding first then playing the percentages when attacking
