Ehab did say we're a 4-3-3 club in his interview with Burnsy on Radio Humberside, and did say it's the Hull City way. However, I suspect we're a 4-3-3 club because that's Terry's Plan A, B and C as he's shown at every club he's managed. I wouldn't lay money on Ehab being able to spot any changes in formation without it being spelled out to him.
As far as I'm aware we've had this 4-3-3 philosophy since Silva introduced it. Its one of the things he recommended to Ehab to stick with when he left. If I'm right, every manager we've had since has played the same formation. The thing about our philosophy is it's dependant on 2 really good wingers. Take them away and we're just a crap team not playing to our strengths. (Two big lumps of centre forward) Look at Liverpool for example, yes they're a quality team with a fantastic manager. But remove Salah or mane, or both.. they aren't that great.
