Bruce indicated in his post match interview he was impressed and keen to keep Fryatt. If we sell him, then it's a bad move by the club IMHO as we'll then need a minimum 2 strikers this window. Assuming the rest leave (Pros, McLean, Gedo)
If we can get 2m for Cairney, Stewart and Hobbs, that would be decent business IMO. With the way Cairney has been playing and his age I would have hoped for slightly more than 500k. Just need to shift McLean and Prossie now. I assume Gedo is as good as gone too.
The value of Cairney is driven by the fact I think he's out of contract in the summer, so £500k isn't too bad. Particularly when we paid a fraction of that for Boyd who was also almost out of contract.
If we are considering recalling Hobbs, I would expect the club to be asking a decent chunk for him too. Cairney and Hobbs alone should bring in 1m, surely. I suspect Stewart will probably go for 200-300k though, unfortunately.
I think it's more to force the hand of Forest. They really rate him, but there has also been interest shown by other clubs. So as a seller, this somewhat strengthens our hand. Forest can get to **** with whatever ****e loan cum pay **** all agreement they have in place.

Could we not drive cairney's price up if we tried to get someone else in for him as well? Just flaunt him out to other people who might take a 500k punt and cause a bit of doubt in the blackburn camp?
