From the sounds of things he was told they'd be sold, or else have Xm to spend. Neither eventuated so he has walked.

Just a thought... Bruce is so well respected in the game by other managers, I wonder how many would even think about managing here irrespective of promises made. They will know whats gone on and I think would shun the clubs advances. Just my opinion. Though Giggs os only 5/1 to take over..
