Everton aren't doing any worse under Martinez and the fans prefer the football to what Moyes served up.
You obviously aren't in tune with the fans phoning in on every station today lambasting the football they're playing… they call it pitter pat football, 15 passes to get to the halfway line… Hmmmm… now where have I seen that before..?

To be fair to him he must be well pissed off with the inconsistency of his teams, regardless of who is to blame; add to that the whole caustic environment of the club, it's alienated support and now a clear divide with the local reporter (who I believe he got on okay with), there can be no surprise he has had enough - who wouldn't?
That'll be because Burnsy dared to ask the question 17k fans at the game and countless thousands more wanted answered...

You can't necessarily go by the types that phone in. It's knobheads galore on Humberside after a City game.

GTF
It's about 10 armchair managers on in the internet, many of whom don't go or live abroad.
I cringe with embarrassment at the negative and simplistic cobblers these callers come out with.
The famous but nevertheless true opener " I dint go today Burnsy but..."

I work in Birkenhead and live in Liverpool, I know loads of Everton fans, NOT ONE wants Martinez to remain as manager. It is actually getting to the stage I feel a bit sorry for him cos he is definitely out of a job come the summer. Having said that I would prefer to lose by playing too attacking than lose by being ultra cautious and losing anyway.
