Stop going, then; I'm sure plenty of people who sit near you will be glad to see the back of your undoubted pissing and moaning.

I don't moan while I am at the game. I support the team to the end.
I thought the point of this forum was for fans to give their views, but if somebody dares says the opposite to some they have a hissy fit.
We obviously disagree in our views, but the difference bewtween us is I respect the views of others. You Polly sadly can't consider someone else view unless it agrees to your own.

we had an 17 million strike force yesterday and an 8 million central midfielder, surely he cant use the big players where out argument when he has thrown that money around on them......Brownie giving kilbane 30k a week doesnt seem such a waste anymore...

How it blind support any better than moaning?

I show up every week and get behind the team. Yet week after week we lose, draw and put in s**te performances. There are only so many times I can mentally psych myself up before it all just becomes a fruitless and pointless exercise. Week after week I see no improvements and largely I see a regression.

"Week after week"! Oh my word. This explains so much. Short termism at its most risible.

I don't understand why you appear to have an air of superiority and arrogance about you simply because you choose to to burry your head in the sand or act like things are hunky dory. Our form and results are within the realms of a manager been sacked and the saving grace thats buying Bruce more time is the FA Cup.

Jebus, how am I acting like I think things are hunky dory? How many times do I have to state the fact that I know things are not going well right now? As for the "realms of a manager being sacked".... sadly, it's impatient clowns like yourself who help bring this climate about.

I don't understand what world you live in when you think the answer is blind support.
Red herring, on account of the fact that "blind support" is an open-ended term. Try harder.

There is a point when serious questions need to be asked and merely getting behind the team isn't enough.
Yes, thank **** we have people like you to ask serious questions. If it were not for your kind, we'd make no progress would we? I only hope the club take note of your suggestions.

Do you even go to any games?
Yes; do you?

The language you use such as 'poodle' and 'knickerwetting' paints you as a being young.
Define "young"; age is just a number to me.

Can you not see any validation in the negativity and moaning?
Nope. Absolutely ****ing none whatsoever. Can you?

It happens at every club in the world and rightly so. Don't perform, don't get results then expect criticism. Why would such dire displays and lack of results prompt more and more blind optimism.
Can't agree.

Like I said. At what point would you begin to moan or criticise? Is there a point that you would say enough is enough? or will you just keep recycling the same material.
Dunno. I haven't reached it yet. Life has been pretty good as a City fan for several years now. I can't imagine things being genuinely bad, like they used to be. Maybe you've only known life in the Prem? I'm interested to know how old you are now, actually...
.

I really don't give a **** about your opinion mate ;)

You talk about short termism, but lets be honest if we are thinking long term. We have no identity as a club, we don't have a set way of playing we have no idea what formation we will play next season. We have no idea on our best XI and we haven't all season. The chop and changing Bruce is making is short termism so don't use that arguement.

As a club we have never really looked long term, and i think now is the time. Personally i think Bruce is the man to lead us forward but we need to figure out how we want to play going forward.

Old enough for away games in Division 3, bucket whip arounds, near relegation from the league, locked out of the ground and terrible football.

Unlike you I have ambition for the club. We have developed, we have progressed and I want to see progression not regression. If your happy to lose and perform terribly week in week out because you're satisfied with complacency because of the past then maybe you're just as poor a fan as you make me or anyone else out to be.

Problem is we don't agree. Will never agree and we will waste so much of our time back and forth debating which is entirely pointless.
I am a pessimist you are an optimist. Bruce will either stay or go and time shall tell.

Call me knee jerk but I am the kind of person who likes to rectify problems when they are glaringly obvious. (gamble)

You on the other hand seem to think the solution is wait it out in the chance (gamble) that things might change.

Lets patiently wait for things to get better or patiently wait to get relegated.

goodnight

Interesting. So, at what point did YOU say "enough is enough"? Only recently, as we find ourselves in the middle of a bad run in the top flight? Very strange.

Here's a brief reminder of some postings from 1st September after our deadline day signings.

I think ben arfa will raise the roof

everytime he gets the ball there's going to be excitement pulsing

The morning after the night before.

Remarkable business yesterday, the calibre of player cannot be sniffed at by anyone. I'll leave the selection headaches to Steve Bruce, rather you than me boss.

Highlight of the day? Oh ok then, Hatem Ben Arfa hanging out the car with a smile as wide as the Humber Bridge on his face, grabbing as many hands as he could, looking like a superstar. If we can get him back to his best, this season could be marvellous.

True, very true.

Personally I was always confident that Brucey would give us at least some Wigan-like success when he was first appointed, but what he has achieved since he's been here is absolutely mind blowing, and I don't think, not for one second, that even he could have anticipated what has happened during the last couple of years!

For me, some players fit with certain teams, it's exactly the same with managers, Liverpool were a struggling second division side, if I recall correctly, when a certain Bill Shankly was appointed, the rest, as they say, is history.

Could City/Brucey really be the new Liverpool/Shankly? At this moment in time it would be a very foolish man that bet against it!

We have Hatem Ben Arfa and sure he can score some worldies... but don't forget this bloke!

If, as a City fan, you're not excited by these signings - you do not deserve to ever grace the KC. This solidifies the best team we will EVER have.

still can't believe it, on deadline day we've signed.....

ben arfa
diame
hernandez
ramirez

<laugh> unfuckingbelieavable

Amazing to be a City fan.

No idea how we're going to fit them all in.

Gutted we haven't got a game until the 15th.

Bruce is a god or at least a demigod, its clearly not opinion as these deadline day signings scientifically prove it.

It's really quite painful, having to wait until Monday night to watch our "new team" play. We seem to have discussed Ben Arfa a lot on here. That is understandable, as we know what he can do, because weve already seen him,and he's clearly a very exciting prospect for us.

The one i'm most looking forward to seeing though is Hernandez, because we really don't have much to go on. We paid £10m for a striker we(as supporters) know very little.

And then there might be fitness issues with Benny and Ramirez to be sorted before we get to see them. These are exciting times for Hull city fans. I'm just feeling a bit frustrated with my own impatience.

Now which one of you twats, is gonna be first to type TWT ? **** off in advance <ok>

What has changed?

Well.... we are in a relegation battle instead of pushing for a top 10 spot as most of us dreamed we would be doing after these signings.

Now remember that excitement and get behind the Manager and the Team.

Great post.

It's mad how people where calling Bruce a legend three months ago.

I don't want Bruce out but surely a football messageboard is the place to express opinions about it ?

Hopefully we all get behind the team during games , that doesn't really need saying does it ?

They had all their key men out more or less too. Bruce has made a rod for his own back by putting an over-emphasis on that game and the next two when he should have been looking at the bigger picture, the other games coming up which are winnable. We need at least one win from the Leicester and Sunderland games now to get back on track if not then we have to look at whether we want to survive in the division or let Bruce bring us back up next season.

Must be worrying for you now when the posters who share your view of the same situation are the likes of Patty,Thuds, Brady and a few Sunderland WUMs.

On the flip side, if I was a brucey poodle I'd have to share my opinion with you.

Sometimes you just can't win.

Thank you for proving just how fickle most of the ****s on this board are.

I've read the first 2 pages of this thread, I'm certainly not going to read the other 11. Basically A large number of our fans are fickle ****s who have no idea about football or Hull city as a club. Shame on you! **** off back to supporting Liverpool or Chelsea, you aren't wanted at hull city you absolute pond scum

Ok... let's look back at last season.

27th December 2013 - Malkey McKay sacked. Outcome: Cardiff relegated
14th Feb 2014 - Rene Meulensteen sacked. Outcome: Fulham relegated
6th Apr 2014 - Chris Houghton sacked. Outcome: Norwich relegated.

On Dec 28 2013, bottom 2 clubs were West Ham and Sunderland. Both clubs stuck by their Managers. Anyone guess what happened? Anyone???

Palace were dead and buried and made the change ans survived.

Neither is the lying git Steve Bruce.

Wasn't even wanted in the first place by a very large number on here. Fickle indeed. Now he's the best thing since sliced bread.

I wonder how Alan Huttons broken nose and chipped tooth are...

I still think Bruce is a legend. But things change. Form can be lost. SHould we keep Bruce to the end, possibly get relegated and hope he brings us back up?

If we change, don't make the mistake of leaving it as late as PB. If he's not gone by feb, keep him til the end.

****ing hate Pulis but he's possibly exactly what we need at the moment.

Why does everyone keep saying Pulis?

**** Pulis.

Tom Sherwood and Roger Di Matteo don't have jobs yet do they?

Sure there's a few more about that have a bit about them...

Glynn Hoddle?

Or better yet Steve McClaren. I reckon he'd take the job if offered.
