You keep saying we're "on track" for promotion, but that surely only applies to the teams currently in the top two places? We're currently in contention for promotion, but not "on track".
I dont understand your mentality, if you have witnessed recent performances, we are not on track at all. Infact if you look at recent performances and results, Leeds are more on track to get in the playoffs than us. I'm afraid at the moment out train looks like it's becoming derailed!!
Yes, it's a head scratcher. Going almost halfway through a season without reaching top gear really isn't a positive. In fact, we've gone 2 years now without reaching top gear.
Brighton are overacheiving. The squad at our disposal and the funds spent should make us way better than them. Should.
Manchester City fans saying the same thing. How can they be 6 points behind a club/team like Leicester City with the squad they have ? You can say the same thing about why Arsenal - Manchester Utd - Chelsea - Tottenham are also behind the Foxes. Real Football is not a computer game. However what is happening in all leagues so far this season makes it very interesting and exciting. Being a Hull City fan has never ever been straight forward and why should it be ? But to even think that we need to change Steve Bruce is the mindset of wums and idiots. I could well understand it if we were struggling outside the top 6 though.
Well isn't this super squad thing really a myth? Who in our squad would be a regular in say Stoke's team? Was Chester one of those that should be able to get into an average, if not poor WBA team? Let's get real, all of our premier players could not get regular games last season unless it was with us, and was it not said that we only actually spent £7m this summer? Gray was the man and for fiscal reason's which I do not disagree with, we did not have the cash at the right time. We are doing ok, indeed are we not exactly were we were 3 seasons ago? So all to play for. It is about time some jokers on this thread actually got on with supporting the club.
So from a massive 13,000 plus views (many multiples, I accept) a huge(!) total of 48 have voted for Bruce to go - rather underwhelming don't you think?
I love Waggy my all time hero, but this is not a good point as only 27 out of 13,000 voted No? (I am one of the 27)
I look in every day, but to be fair, it has been a clicky this last 12 months. Too many posts backing up mates and not actually adding to the discussion. Once you start posting regularly, someone is going to slag you off and then the niggles start (not to mention the stalking) That's it I have had enough of your snide comments CR! see it started already.
Curtis Davis thinks we are playing poorly, although he says he has no idea why. I believe the first part, I don't believe the second part.
Fair comment maybe I did not spend enough time reading it. Only focused on the the gist of the article which was that we are doing ok and its best to keep things in in perspective, and not make rash decisions that we might regret like getting rid of Steve Bruce.
