Normally I'd probably agree with you but I think it's deeper than he's tactically lost his way. It's motivational and I think there's issues with players. It's a tricky one for pappa because he's close to bruce so does he stick or twist
23 want Bruce out. 3 want him to stay. Early days on the poll yet but it's not looking good for him. Bruce out
I don't understand your problem about me saying we look tactically poor and predictable, it seems Bruce has run out of ideas tactically and mentally. Bruce out 100% unless there's a massive change in the next 3 games.
Wow 23 whole people! Well as you know, you will eventually get your way, as sooner or later everyone goes. I expect you personally have someone in kind who you'd like to take over, or would have preferred over SB when he first came her? I look forward to your riveting answer. Edit: Currently 32! You now get a bigger dancing clown!
Well done Brucey, raise a glass...some apt lyrics embedded herein... "My makeup is dry and it clags on my chin I'm drowning my sorrows in whiskey and gin The lion tamer's whip doesn't crack anymore The lions they won't fight and the tigers won't roar So let's all drink to the death of a clown Won't someone help me to break up this crown Let's all drink to the death of a clown Let's all drink to the death of a clown The old fortune teller lies dead on the floor Nobody needs fortunes told anymore The trainer of insects is crouched on his knees And frantically looking for runaway fleas Let's all drink to the death of a clown So won't someone help me to break up this crown Let's all drink to the death of a clown Let's all drink to the death of a clown" and here's to you Mr Robertson... Computer, she no lie... Should steve Bruce be ****ed off? Absolufuckinglutely......17 vote(s).......47.2% Yes...............................15 vote(s).......41.7% No.................................4 vote(s)........11.1% Bruce out
There's a risk joining in this debate ... not seeing the wood for trees. Steve Bruce did an excellent job at Hull City in his first year. Some would say he did an excellent job by not being relegated straight back down again. But the fact is, Steve Bruce spent an awful lot of other people's money and was relegated all the same. Anyone could see last season he was out of his depth. If he wasn't, then why were City relegated? (Answers on the back of a postcard please) And anyone could see last May that Steve Bruce was mortified. He was and is totally burned out. He has nothing more to offer. Just how the Allams could let Steve Bruce continue is beyond my comprehension. Bruce should have gone last May. He had his big chance and fluffed it badly. Now here we are, City losing to Leeds and Rotherham and quite honestly playing very mediocre football. Does anyone really think this current squad is the germ of a decent Premier League side? How long would this lot last in the Premier League? Where are the promising signs? There should have been a major sweep out last spring. It didn't happen, and until it does this mediocrity will continue. And just to complete the pessimism, this mediocrity stems from the owners who are left holding a baby they really didn't want in the first place.
Shopping list: 1. Gary Rowett 2. Gary Monk 3. Roberto Di Matteo (long shot since I doubt he'd come) 4. Tim Sherwood One of those would be able to manage the squad we have and get the best football out of them.
Why on Earth would Rowett leave Birmingham to join us? He is still there isn't he? The other 3, fair enough, although I don't see why Sherwood would be on anyone's list. Monk might turn out to be a great manager. But then again he might not. Gamble. He will know Pennock very well though, and vice versa. God knows who would be on my list now. All I know is Bruce needs to go. He lost his way a long long time ago.
Rowett might be happy to go to a club with a bigger budget, a better shot at promotion, and a more stable club. Sherwood plays a pretty decent style and may be able to get the best out of Hudd and Jake, knowing them from the Spurs time.
2 years as a manager, turned round a hapless Spurs side to a 6th placed finish, rejuvenated a terrible Villa side to somehow avoid relegation (ahead of Steve Bruce) and reached an FA cup final. Higher win %age than Steve Bruce. Achieved more in a fraction of the time. Playing better football as well.
Bruce out ? I feel sorry for him......But even i am starting to think that way. For some reason i think he has run out of ideas and has no idea how to improve things. IF theres not a huge improvement v Burnley i would be looking to replace him. Leeds...Bolton..Reading...Rotherham ... We have played some terrible football. For me i always have a great time watching city. My opinions are often irrelevant on here for none footy reasons as i never have a bad day. But for some reason Bruce has no idea how to change things . So bruce out....if we play as **** against burnley.
