How things have changed in a year or so. I remember when you and your ilk were going on about the rest of us being stuck in the past, pining for the old days of Division 3. Now you're happy with us dropping like a stone.

 

Worra load of ****e. I want to be in the Pl. If we arent good enough then I want to be in the Championship. etc

You don't get in our position by playing absolutely ****e.

Any team can have a blip. We are the same team that mauled the Boro so it's hardly like you can say we are doomed from a two week period when we have had a couple of injuries.

 

Agree with all of the above. I am SB's biggest supporter but we can't take many more away days like today. It's not just the fact that we are fed up of losing to crap sides - its the way we are losing. I don't mind getting beaten if we have given our all and had a go. Today and at TWS we capitulated. Our hopes of promotion by whatever means rest squarely on Michael Dawson's fitness and it can't be good for any club to be so reliant on one player. I give SB 3 more games. If we are as dire as the last few weeks, then I reluctantly accept a change could be necessary.

We arent playing free flowing football I agree. But were grinding em out. Today being the exception rather than the rule.

 

Rubbish. We've lost the games we deserved to lose and won the ones we deserved too.
I cant remember us being given a freebie win by a mistake like Greggsy did to cost us all 3 points against Wolves.

 

We're in a false position, and even the position we are in isn't good enough.

We have the most talented and most expensive squad in the league, all of whom were signed by Bruce, yet he seems incapable of picking the right players, setting them up the right way or motivating them to play.

This league is not good. I'm yet to see a good team. Charlton, Leeds and Rotherham were all utter ****e and managed to beat us.

Anyone who thinks this is a blip is deluding themselves, even in our run we were unconvincing most of the time.

We need promotion this season, for financial reasons. If not now, players will go and debts will mount. Bruce knows the problems but he's incapable of fixing them. I can't see the Allams sacking Bruce but I can't see promotion with him. A play-off semi-final defeat the most likely outcome, and anyone who thinks the play-offs with this team is an achievement lacks ambition.

 

What would your team have been?

 

We were flattered midweek too as they lost so many players injured (Reading) and were ramshackle at the end, we got the result more because of that than anything else

I don't see the players in training 5/6 days a week and I'm not paid extortionate amounts of money to pick the right XI each week.

Personally, I'd have played Diame and dropped Elmo/Moses, and I think Hayden's been very harshly done by with his lack of game time, but that's rather irrelevant.

 

With Dawson we hardly conceded a goal for weeks that should say.
