Against Cardiff, we said "that's the best we've played so far this season." Second half against Sheff Wed, we said "that's the best we've played so far this season." Against Ipswich, again we said "that's the best we've played so far this season." And versus Birmingham, we said "that's the best we've played so far this season." And for a good 70 minutes of that game tonight (despite not scoring), that's the best we've played so far this season. It's incredible how we've suddenly gotten better and better and continue to out-perform out previous performance and previous best. We're becoming a force in this league.
It speaks volumes that our MOTM votes on here have gone from being solely defenders to now being players further up the pitch. A noticeable change.
It was an excellent team performance, the best at the KC since we tonked Fulham. Nobody let us down, even Taylor, who looked so much better in midfield. Bruce's only problem, is that he's probably got himself on an FA charge with his 'we were playing against twelve men' comments. Well done to Brucey for getting it right last night, Diame should have come off half an hour earlier, but other than, it was a faultless display.
Maybe it's gonna be at MK that we give them the right royal thumping that's been coming! What price 4-0?
