We aren't as split on this as it might look. How many people were there like me who voted to give him more time ONLY because I didn't think anyone reputable would take it till the relegation issue is sorted? Less than one in three -32.43% - want him here a year from now.
With cuteybuns on this one give him till the end of the season then wait and see what the powers that be do about it. As said we get rid and no one wants the job until we are safe but, then do we want them for not committing? and lets face it you need committing if you want to manage SAFC.
I thought he had lost the players after WBA, and would have said out now, but after the weekend, i say give him till after Saturday at least, and i've voted end of the season. If we fail to beat Wigan, the damage to Bruce will be unrepairable in my eyes, and i'm a very tolerant sort.
The saying about changing horses in midstream comes to mind. Never ever does any good come of it. Stick it until end of season
I've put stick to the end of the season. Changing now won't do any good. If we finish top 10, I would say that he has the job for at least another year, players are probably more likely to come to a club with consistency. But out of the top 10, I'm not sure... it depends on our performances. If we get, dare I say it, relegated, I don't think that getting rid would be that sensible an option; how many managers better than Bruce would want to come to a Championship club?
Exactly if we get rid now we have a better chance of a decent manager leaving it too late could be fatal for the cause.
