because martial arts fighting is ****e to watch, its still not really televised today because no one wants to watch it. There are films about it because the films are based on street fighting with a martial arts theme.

A "punch on the chin" would be the least of Tyson's worries, arm and leg locks, pressure points and broken bones would be more of a concern. An average Judo player could probably take down a professional boxer so an exceptional fighter trained in multiple fighting disciplines such as Lee and some of the current MMA fighters would beat Tyson. There's more to MMA than simply beating the tar out of each other, if someone like Quintin Jackson got Tyson in an "arm bar" Tyson would be submitting before you had time to blink. As I said, i've explained this before but "Martial Arts" are unarmed combat skills which are taught to Armed Forces around the world, if Boxing was an effective fighting technique then Armed Forces would be taught that instead.

Nev its the technique behind the punches and kicks, same with defence. Just coz your a big **** doesn't mean you can block well. Lee could land probably 3 800psi punches in a second, Tyson would take seconds to get his punch thrown and would no doubt miss. As dev says, Lee would target the pressure points and could take Tyson down no problem. You don't make your own form of martial art without being **** hot at loads of different ones
Lee used a variety of techniques and knew plenty of submission holds, 800 psi is still enough to deck Tyson especially when delivered to a pressure point or a bone. Tyson was a fearsome individual but he would be no match for Lee in a streetfight i'm afraid.

In Tyson's time the Heavyweight division was at it's lowest t ebb ever, that's why he was world champ at 20 because everyone was ****e. Never mind Ali, Tyson would not have lasted 3 rounds with Joe Frazier.
