He himself is going back to sqaure one buy saying he needs at least 8 players! Suggesting himself, that he has not built a young squad and in fact after two years he's ripping the team up and starting again. I'm not saying he should go, but he hasn't been the team builder we are painting him out to be.
You're right about the McColl dates - I've just looked it up, and must say I'm surprised. If I remember rightly, he left us in 10th place in the top flight - the highest we'd been since the 1950s. Brown steered us away from that perilous position to relegation in his first season - right?
