It can't be true. Why would they call Bruce in? It's the players' fault so surely the owners would surely bring the lot of them in to explain themselves.
I keep seeing this mention of Pulis. Are we convinced he was or is the answer. He was an option back then, but with hindsight, would you ... ?
Said back in their pre-xmas wobble, don't write off Brighton. Hughton is a good manager and he knows what he wants from his coaches - something often lost in the noise.
The fault lies with the owners and the manager. The manager picks the team - we have seen a period of unprecedented and IMHO often unnecessary tinkering. The manager also works on the training pitch, allegedly. I have never seen such disjointed, negative performances as shown over the last 18 months. This must all come as a result of what the manager puts in on the training ground. Backwards, sideways with lethargic attacks more often than not. I can't see how the manager can be blameless. He's one of the guiltiest parties of our simply appalling performances.
I was listening to 606 on five live last night driving. WBA supporters up in arms about what they have to watch. It was described as sideways and backwards football. I feel for them …!!! Apparently one supporter confronted the players yesterday… lets be honest, the premiership will be down to about two or three British managers soon and Pulliss wont be one of them. As soon as they're on a bad run it'll give the board the excuse to sack him.
