Midfielders will run a lot more than strikers. Assuming it seperates walking from running the strikers only need to run one way for starters. Then their runs are starting maybe 30 yards further forward. Just off the top of my head that could just about quarter the expected figure.
As much as i liked Phill Brown he did come out with some lies when it suited him, to say Marlon King did not put a full shift in when we had a player like cousin is a joke.
But Kings job was different to Cousins, King was signed to do the running around and closing down, Cousin wasn't.
