I think it was a misunderstanding. I got a press alert about Lee Johnson upsetting their fans about something that he was supposed to have said.
I posted on their board about it and was shot down as a weirdo who trolled them, obsessed with Leeds!
They hadn’t heard of the article and didn’t give a flying fk what our manager said.
The exchange got a bit heated as nobody wanted to back down (including me). Anyway, time (and promotion) are big healers so I’m hoping we are friends again.

I agree, great business by LJ to sell Kodja, a one-season wonder who's done nothing since. Getting £15m for him was a master stroke.

 

Surely the amount we got was down to MA

 

We have been a selling club for 5 years.

Josh is a credit to himself and his family - I have nothing but admiration for the guy who is a role-model

Hope the move goes through as Leeds is a step up (and we will get £1.2m) - is this an indication that Kalvin Phillips may be on his way out of Leeds?

 

I thought he was ok for us, but nothing outstanding and would struggle with the step up, shows what I know. He always gave 100% though, I hope his move goes ahead, both for his sake, and also ours, as we could do with the cash to bring in some quality.

 

Not sure how much ‘quality’ is available for £1.2m these days.

And I think it’s more than we paid for Webster….?

 

Paid £3.5 million I think for Webster with add ons and sell on fee it virtually doubled.
