The season is over and he's playing the sympathy vote already, I don't buy it sorry. Where was Kimi's sympathy for being targeted and labeled "boring" that helped drive him out of F1. If there was 1 driver who should of been given more respect from the media and fans was him. Where was Alonso's sympathy for being kicked out of McLaren, being labeled a "spoilt twat" and made to look like the bad guy, then being stuck with Renault for 2 years, unable to challenge for the WDC. Where was the sympathy when Seb was targeted and labeled the "crash kid" last season for his mistakes. And the continuing assault on how he isn't a racer and he can't overtake all up until Spa-Monza. Don't remember these guys looking for a sympathy when the **** was pointing in their direction. Sure as hell know that a majority of fans didn't give a damn about their demons and **** ups, but yet we have to give sympathy because Lewis is getting more stick than usual, sorry doesn't work like that in this game chaps, hope he gets his head sorted, but I won't care if he doesn't, he can quit whenever he wants and retire a millionaire. Welcome to F1 Lewis! Now crack on...
Is that not what he is trying to do until people like you and the press piss him off even more when he gets pole and looks unhappy? He hasn't put a foot wrong this weekend and still you are creating a whole scene and drama over his body language when we should be talking about his great lap and pole position.
The engine cannot bog down on it's own. it's up to him to manage the revs, if he gets it wrong, it's his fault, not the car. Do you know nothing about f1?
Of course he manages the revs, but how stupid can you get saying "If he's not still in the lead after Turn 1 he cannot drive". Oh yeah World Champion cannot drive an F1 Car.... Get a grip.
Silver, you have been talking a lot of ****e recently! How do you know he is looking for 'sympathy'? Who is giving him sympathy? Seems you started and ended your own argument in one post!
Look dumbass, if you add up all the factors in Hamiltons favour, there is a 99% chance he should be leading after turn 1 (ideal line, cleaner side, pole position, poor starting RBR, merc engine, powerful kers etc.) If he isn't, even with all these factors in his favour, then he would have made a mess of it, giving my argument a lot of weight.
The silence/grumpy treatment screams out, I'm vulnerable, stop picking on me and make me feel better about myself, Sympathy...
I don't remember him asking for sympathy, in fact I don't remember him asking for much at all. Be happy your guy has just won back to back world championships and sooner rather than later it will be the same story in the constructors as well
Why? Why should he feed the media who have been putting him down with such relish recently? Unwiitngly, he has giving them something else to write about. In some people's eyes, whatever he does will be wrong and torn apart with glee from some quarters. If he had whooped with joy, people woudl say he was fickle and selfish by self-congratualting himself despite his bad run of form. He has kept quiet and is now getting vilifed for that too!
I give you all the facts and you still can't face the truth? Are you Lewis WDC (banned user) by any chance?
I wouldn't have criticised him if he had whooped with joy, it shows that he's enjoying himself, whereas his bizzare reaction today just raises more questions, namely, what selfish **** doesn't thank his team for providing him with a quality car this weekend?
I bet he did it in private. Why should every single word they utter be broadcast to the masses just to apease everyone? I've said before I thin a lot of the radio messages are now 'made for TV'.
What have I said to his face to piss him off that labels me the instigator of his problems? Isn't like I spam his twitter page constantly saying he sucks balls etc, let alone keep hounding the issue. I say my bit once, his fans don't like it and I have to go in detail about 5-6 times that he has 1 small problem and he makes it look like he lost his house or something. I repeat, I don't care if he gets his head together, I couldn't care less if he didn't, but I say he's using the sympathy card to slacken off the hounds by pretending he gives a damn what us idiots think... He's playing the sympathy card I reckon, to lessen the race weekend pressure.
Not over the radio. Whereas most drivers immediately contact the team to thank them, he remained silent, unless FOM didn't release the radio message.
Radio or not he still acknowledged the team. I am sure he said something but the FOM set us up to have this conversation.
