A very disappointing end to the season. Lots of promise but far too much inconsistency particularly at home. We missed Cameron Stewart not just because of his ability but the fact that he gave us width and pace which we didn't have after his injury. We also missed Rosenior later on. A lot of work needs to be done and a few replacements made before we emulate QPR next season... Nil Deperandum... The potential is there and we do have a young side.
Stewart could get injured next season too - NP needs to address this and ensure there is a little more creativity brought in
I agree! Definitely short of creativity but we have come a long way from where we ewere at the beginning of the season looking total disaster in the face. I'd have taken a mid-table position then and that's what we have. I have enjoyed the Championship football and am looking towards next season. NP has done a good job and will develop the team further. No worries! UTT
We've been a bit unlucky with injuries to key players this season - whether we'd have reached the play-offs had they all remained injury-free is debatable. However the fact remains that NP has made the first step in transforming a team in tatters into a competent Championship side. Hopefully steps two and three will be made next season but for that to happen we'll need at lease four or five decent signings over the summer. Looking forward to next season already.
yes it just shows what we've missed in Cam Stewart he is a talent and Amoo can't clean his boots. OLM - yes NP hauled off Koren early - maybe we can read sth into that..
