With the new season looming large it is time to kick off the prediction league again.
The rules remain simple. You need to predict the result in Q.P.R.’s match and name the goal scorers. The exact score will get you 5 points, the correct outcome (i.e. QPR win, draw or that other possibility which we will gloss over at this point) will get 2 points and each correct scorer will gain a bonus point. I’m sure that you have all got enough common sense to predict the right number of scorers to match the score you’ve given. It couldn’t be easier.
So, if I predict that QPR will win 3 – 1, with Remy, Austin and Ferdinand to score for us and Jelavic to score for them and it happens I would get 9 points. If we win 2 – 0 with Austin and Zamora scoring I’d get 3 points. If we lose 2 – 0 with Jelavic scoring both, I’d get 1 point as I only predicted he’d score once. You can change your prediction at any point up until kick off time according to the Not 606 clock (beware it always seems a little fast to me) by editing your original post, not by making a new one.
I’m going for the ridiculously optimistic approach and sticking with the 3 – 1 as above even though I expect us to lose, what are your predictions for QPR v Hull?
