I'll try and make it along to the Crown and Sceptre beforehand if I can.

    I like the jury's inn. That's where I'm staying.

There is a huge selection. Do you like any particular brand?

Na. Usually stay with my cousins or come back the same day but thinking I might stay close to the airport this time for convenience and a quick exit the next morning. Just looking for something cheap and cheerful with s late bar :)

What's the best flight to get on the Saturday morning?
I'm looking at the Air Lingus flights at 08.50 and 09.45. If I remember right I think it takes about an hour ish to get to HQ. is that correct? Would like to get to the C&S no later than 12.30 to enjoy a few prematch beers.
    Thanks

Nuts, go for one of the Travel Lodge/Comfort Inn/Premier Inn places that are all about the airport now, they are about the cheapest. They don't have a late bar but you can always get a late drink in Colnbrook or Staines (I might even join you ;) ).
I would offer you a place on my sofa but don't think you would enjoy the early morning wake up call from Twins 1 and 2 :)

    Hey Nuts,

I thought you went into hiding after yesterday, CorkeR, where are you??? I suppose you Cats are giving somebody else a chance to win it for just one year?

Regards flights, Tramore and myself are on the 08.50. That arrives in LHR about 10ish. I have to go check in to the hotel so that time suits me personally.

The 09.45 will get there about 11ish. Roughly one hour to the Bush so you should be in the pub by 12 provided there are no delays. If there are delays, the 08.50 might be better???

    Hey Finglas

Just booked my flight and accommodation. Also going to fly out on the 08.50 on Saturday morning. Got a good deal with Jury's too so will also stay there. Hope to quickly book into the hotel on arrival and then try and get to HQ ASAP for a few pints before the match. The meet up was all a little rushed last time.
Do you know if Jury's have a late bar?

Still hurting from Sunday. It had to happen at some stage. Cork were superb and fully deserved their win. The championship is now wide open and it can only be good for the game. Dublin probably slight favourites at this stage.

    Hey Staines.

Sound as a pound but i would not impose myself on anybody. I take our matches very seriously and can be in foul mood when we don't perform as Finglas will testify.
Really looking forward to meeting you and all the gang on here for a few pints before and after the match. Can’t log onto here without getting slightly emotional about Brix and looking forward to meeting Pat and Deon again.

Great Nuts. We're all on the same flight heading over. I haven't a clue if there is a late bar. I only ever drank there during "normal" hours. I'm sure they can tell you at check in.

The door is definitely open for a surprise winner of the hurling. All four teams left will fancy their chances. I miss the q/f of the football this weekend but am going to the hurling semi next week. As you say, it is good for the game to see different teams in there with a shout.
