This is sizing up for one hell of a day. Brix would just love this. Thinking of taking Friday off work so I can go out to the pub on Thursday night and get a bit of serious training in.
Anybody know if our seats in the school end are covered? Just checked the weather and they are forecasting some rain.
The seats are covered, no problem there. I'm more concerned about how we are all going to fit in the Crown and Sceptre beforehand.
Get there early, put jackets and bags on as many seats as possible.....I'll be there 12.30 latest. Is Mortlake reserving an area for us? Where we all going afterwards? Sorry about all the questions Roller.
I've not seen Mortlake around here for ages, and haven't seen him in the pub so far this season, so I've not asked him. I really hope it is dry, we will struggle to raise a toast to Brix in the hubbub inside the pub. As for afterwards, I've asked for ideas and Kingdom suggested O'Neills (near The Empire on the green) and Stan names two pubs whose names I'd need to look up. I'm easy.
O'Neills is a designated away fans pub on match days. I have been in there many times on match days and it is not very pleasant. I think the two pubs further from the ground towards Hammersmith are less likely to be crowded. I'll go wherever you decide Roller.
