France and Germany won't go short when they receive their order but some of the other 24 member states might have to fight/beg for their portion.

There are a lot of people in this country (nation) who are not as fit as you and are depending on our leaders (government) to protect them in the best way possible (same as every other country/nation really).
Bit harsh/two faced to call a government useless when they get things wrong then slate them for getting things right.

Nationalism is just an extension of tribalism which in turn is an extension of pack protection. It runs through nature and has since the beginning of life.

That's the point exactly. If you read the contract between AZ/EU the former are agreeing to making their best efforts to supply. I don't think that it will take Saul Goodman to prove that they didn't. I don't know what the remedy is but if it's damages then I think it could get expensive. As for Tubs dePefeffe et al crowing, he has to get something right eventually, stopped clock etc.

 

The EU seem desperate to try and find some excuse or someone to blame for their monumental **** up over the vaccine. They need to face the reality that it's simply a consequence of their bureaucratic set up, or they are bound to repeat it again and again.
