Have you read the contract that they signed...you don’t have to answer that because we know you haven’t. So how the **** do you know what case the EU may or may not have?
The fact that they are prepared to publish the contract, even though it was bound by confidentiality rules, says they may well have a case.

The document obliges AstraZeneca only to make “best reasonable efforts” to meet its supply timetables, rather than it being compelled to do so

It was a line they masked out originally.

Credit where it's due, the EU at least managed to get Sinn Fein and the DUP in agreement on something.

Meanwhile, Macron's bitching and bullshit about the effectiveness of the vaccine, doesn't sound like it's going to help vaccine skeptic France with its roll out.

I bet the Countries that formed the Inclusive Vaccine Alliance wish they'd stuck to their guns and carried on their negotiations, rather than letting the EU **** the job up for them.

If that is aimed at me, you couldn’t be further from the truth.
I merely pointed out that it appears the EU do a have a contract which stipulates that committed vaccine numbers should be made up from all of the manufacturing sites, including the UK. You would hope the UK’s contract is equally tight with regard to supply.
