It was a metaphor. In hard terms, what do you make of it? British companies being advised by a pro Brexit government, to make their UK staff redundant, by relocating their business into the EU! Is that what people voted for?
Not quite as drastic as that Opening an office in the EU would make things easier for a lot of UK companies though, i would imagine EU companies will do the same in the UK. How many sandwiches have UK border patrol confiscated from EU lorry drivers, this is bothering my 5yo granddaughter because she can't believe people can be so petty and mean. She also asked if they are giving them to poor people who can't afford food or just throwing them away (very caring girl )
The daily rankings of vaccination campaigns are making increasingly uncomfortable reading for most European countries. While Israel has managed to issue a remarkable 40 doses per 100 of its population, and Britain and the United States 9.3 and 6.2 respectively, the EU is stuck on a mere 1.9. Amid mounting and understandable criticism, it is promising to jab everyone by the summer. And yet, according to calculations it will need a five-fold increase in its rate of vaccination to hit that target.
If they are only talking 1st dose then the increase would need to be 10 fold as certain people are saying you haven't been vaccinated until you receive both shots
As expected; when you allow flag waving nationalist gammons the upper hand in a country, it inevitably takes a huge step backwards. That’s one reason Ireland wants nothing to do with you North Brits.
Really good, mate. Jobs are being secured and we are smashing our EU friends with our vaccination roll out.
Yup, that's the way we're going It's ****ing frightening. The Lefty Loony Woke BBC will be happy though.
