Has Brexit ruined life as we knew it yet?

 

Not if you're an unemployable recluse living on handouts. It's made life a bit ****tier for millions of people, for no reason whatsoever.

Downsides

UK citizens living in the EU are going to suffer.

UK citizens that split their time between living in the EU and here will have limitations on how long they can stay.

Border checks will make importing/exporting goods more complex and time consuming.

Importing/exporting will be more expensive (basic stuff that we buy from the EU for example).

No say in EU-wide rules from now on that will still apply to us

Lots of additional staff needed to do pointless ****ty checks on goods, wasting loads of money.

GDPR has been made more complicated to stick to (only affects nerds)

If you live in Kent then everything will stink of trucker piss.

Going on holiday to the EU will require proper travel insurance (one to watch if you're off on a Magaluf weekend)

Living/studying in the EU will become more complicated.

No, English speaking people or people with families/connections come here, as we have barely any restrictions on employment. All EU countries have lots of immigrants.

It’s not about cancelling Brexit because as far as I’m concerned it’s done, but the point many have made is that these costs and many others like them are going to be the reality moving forward.
For the truck drivers it may only be an additional £20 a week now having to potentially buy food from service stations throughout Europe but why would anyone vote to be a grand a year worse off?
