If the British didn't visit EUROPEAN UNION member countries heavily reliant on the tourism industry and point at laminated menu's sadly the National economy of those countries would be even worse hit.

There is a big difference between a British tourist going on holiday for a week and someone trying to start a life here at our expense from a **** hole country .

Even so most English tourists like to try and integrate even for a short stay , but have little desire to scrounge off the host country or take low paid unskilled work there.
