So perfectly legal dividend payments from shares in a company are “ill gotten gains”...

That makes lots of British people guilty of benefitting from ill gotten gains. Even those crazed Leftie hypocrites demanding that she pays taxes that have been avoided perfectly legally. I bet Dame Kelly Stormer has got a Stocks and Shares ISA that allows him to receive dividends without paying tax or reinvest them in more shares.

This sentence for death by dangerous driving should be appealed by the Attorney General or the Home Secretary on the grounds of undue leniency.

The government is, allegedly, changing the maximum sentence for this offence but at the moment it is 14 years. How did this individual not get the 14 years for killing two young children? It is laughable that he got banned from driving for 14 years. Hopefully the driving ban is not concurrent.

The absurdity of the law is that had he been prosecuted for vehicular manslaughter the maximum sentence is 10 years, so he did not even get that.

Just as well that Dame Kelly Stormer is not still DPP or he would have been charged with death by careless driving, maximum sentence 5 years.
