you mean those models which shows that most of the world is under water now? Technically I suppose it is. I meant the part of the world that wasn't under water 50 years ago.

I can't think of one of their predictions that has stood the test of time, and some have been the exact opposite. Yet trillions are being spent on the strength of them, for a reduced standard of living, and greater potential for deaths.

Right-wing dickheads think you want a lockdown

    Go ad-free
RIGHT-WING knobheads across the UK have convinced themselves that their political opponents love being locked up in their own homes for months.

All of the worst Tory twats have decided that anyone who not bitterly opposed to Covid restrictions is well into Covid restrictions and cannot wait for three months of house arrest with the kids.

Richard Littlejohn said: “Omicron ain’t nothing to be scared of. It’s more frightened of you than you are of it. So why do these cringing cowards thirst for lockdown?

“Well, first because they hate business and want them all to go bust. That’s obvious. And restricting the freedoms of others gets them hard because they’re all Stalin.

“But it seems to me that it goes further for these weaklings. That they secretly crave their imprisonment, that they are relieved to have the state in control of whether they can even socialise, and their dream future is everyone locked up forever.

“It’s the only possible explanation. And I’ve worked it out from just sitting at my desk, without any evidence whatsoever, based purely on visceral dislike. I really am incredible, like a bigoted Sherlock Holmes.”

Joe Turner of Nottingham said: “Uh? No, it’s because we don’t want to catch Covid.”

Much has been made of the digital election in the build up to the general election campaign. Newspapers and broadcasters are determined not to be caught napping, as they were in 2017 when Labour’s digital campaign ran rings around its opponents.

    You couldn't make this **** up....:emoticon-0102-bigsm

Hull's train and bus interchange was evacuated on Friday afternoon, leaving many passengers unable to get home in the middle of rush hour.

Crowds of people were shunned out of the station by British Transport Police and told to "go home".

    If that wasn't bad enough..

Apparently the reason it was closed was due to a union official reporting that there wasn't a Station Manager present, and it is essential to have one in case the station needs to be evacuated, which is why they evacuated the station on safety grounds. :emoticon-0102-bigsm

I have no idea of the political persuasion of whoever ultimately made that decision, but surely someone below should have had the balls to ask them if they were ****ing mental. :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Actually, unless the company was applying a strict last-in, first-out policy across the board (and nothing else) then an employee, even with only 9 months left on their service, could claim discrimination if they're asking for volunteers and selecting on that basis, and they refuse on the basis of cost. Accountant A should know that, and if they don't, union rep B or HR manager C could tell them. :emoticon-0148-yes:
