France has hit back at a new Russian law ordering French champagne makers to label their bottles as sparkling wine.

France has strict rules protecting its bubbly, meaning to be called champagne it must be from the French region that shares the name.

But under Russia's new law, only local producers can call their drinks "shampanskoye" - the Russian equivalent of champagne.

France's main champagne industry group called the law "unacceptable".

Crazed leftie: "Why don't you take legal action?"
    Sensible person: "What legal action?"
Crazed leftie: "I don't know. I only have that question in front of me."

She could have simply left out the word 'legal' as it's not as though she'd be asking if they'd be taking 'illegal' action is it. :emoticon-0102-bigsm

She had been given a question to ask by her leaders but had no idea why she was asking it.
Poor girl used as a mouthpiece for those too cowardly to ask themselves.

She's maybe nervous, as she's still awaiting trial for all the questions she asked of another female. Maybe it's all the pressure of flitting between her role as a Councillor in Islington and an MP in Leicester. Hmm, Leicester. Haven't they had issues with slavery and abuse quite recently?

Whoops, Islington's been covering up child abuse scandals...https://www.islingtongazette.co.uk/...s-scandal-why-did-police-pull-plug-on-3772162

Maybe leave Bruce alone, and look out for those that were daft enough to elect you eh Cloudier.

Given her upcoming court case I'm not sure she would object to illegal action.

It's even dafter given they've tried to butcher the definition of what a 'woman' actually is. The number must fluctuate due to people like Eddie Izzard changing their decision on what they define themselves whenever they feel they're dropping off the media attention train.

Crazed Lefties have no understanding of economics. Failure is the trademark of the Left as they dumb down to equality in poverty.

Remainers are happy to ignore the total failure of the EU response to the pandemic as their fourth wave arrives whilst refusing to acknowledge any positive news related to Brexit Britain. They still sell the myth that thousands of City jobs went to the EU while London still remains Europe’s finance centre.

The Vauxhall factory at Ellesmere Port employed 800 making cars but is now to receive an injection of £100 million to build EV vans, which will add another 200 jobs and continue to provide employment to people in the supply chains. Had a Labour government injected £4 or £40 million into this project, it would have been hailed as a sound investment into British manufacturing jobs. But when a Conservative government is making a sound economic decision to ensure the future of British manufacturing jobs, the Left denigrate it and the Remainers grumble that it would have been better with Brussels bureaucracy.

So by ‘many’ you meant Texas. In the singular sense of the word ‘many’. An exaggeration of the word ‘one’. Total failure of use of the English language: most people consider the word ‘many’ to refer to a large number or multitude.

A quick fact check, according to the Texas Department of State Health Services. Executive Order GA-34 (10th March) allowed “businesses and other establishments” to open but “individuals are strongly encouraged to wear face coverings over the nose and mouth wherever it is not feasible to maintain six feet of social distancing from another person not in the same household”. It “also provides authority for county judges to institute mitigation strategies in areas with high hospitalizations.”

Restaurants were allowed to open at 25 per cent capacity on 1st May and this was extended to 50 per cent on 22nd May when bars, bowling alleys, bingo halls, skating rinks, rodeos and zoos were allowed to open at 25 per cent capacity. On 1st June, summer school classes were allowed provided they observed social distancing.

This does not read like “fully reopened”. You really need to try using official sources for your information not Facebook and the Dark web. Otherwise I will have to continue tediously pointing out that you are posting conspiracy theorist drivel.

No, I said many. Your inability to read anything other than what you want to see means you misinterprate everything anyone posts because you are an autstic simpleton.

    https://gov.texas.gov/news/post/governor-abbott-lifts-mask-mandate-opens-texas-100-percent

Governor Greg Abbott today issued an Executive Order (GA-34) lifting the mask mandate in Texas and increasing capacity of all businesses and facilities in the state to 100 percent. The Governor made the announcement at Montelongo's Mexican Restaurant in Lubbock in an address to the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce.

"With the medical advancements of vaccines and antibody therapeutic drugs, Texas now has the tools to protect Texans from the virus,” said Governor Abbott. "We must now do more to restore livelihoods and normalcy for Texans by opening Texas 100 percent. Make no mistake, COVID-19 has not disappeared, but it is clear from the recoveries, vaccinations, reduced hospitalizations, and safe practices that Texans are using that state mandates are no longer needed. Today's announcement does not abandon safe practices that Texans have mastered over the past year. Instead, it is a reminder that each person has a role to play in their own personal safety and the safety of others. With this executive order, we are ensuring that all businesses and families in Texas have the freedom to determine their own destiny."

Florida and South Dakota opened up "fully" though not back to 2020 levels but all these free societies showing Boris and Krankie up as the coward that they are. "Many" others US States have followed.
