I presume you mean the non BMW variant? Depends, you can still pick up 90's ones for reasonable money, I saw one recently for £1500. The 60's ones are mental. Anything with the Cooper name to it £10k up, if it has an"S" on the end double that. The Timo Makinen Mnte Carlo car changed hands for £35 k after being found in a shed. It was little more than a pile of rust! I just bought a half decent 2CV with a recent chassis replacement for £3500, a few dents that I can sort. The advantage of these cars is that you can guarantee appreciation not depreciation.
