Does this mean that 21st Century Socialism is on the rise ?

Our political system is now a one party race. I’m sure that must feel great if you can’t see beyond “beating the other lot”. Some of us would like to see a credible opposition as only the possibility that they might lose power is going to put a check on the government’s actions. Without that, they are free to do whatever they want. Indefinitely.

 

Correct but Labour are an absolute farce, Lib Dems are god awful, the Green Party are a ****ing tree hugging irrelevance with no other policies apart from fart power and the rest are just a waste of space.

The Scotch Nazi Party are an irrelevance as Scotchland are part of the Union. Plus they are Nazis and think (rightly so) caber tossing shortbread munching manskirt wearers believe if they vote for them everything is going to be free Derp.

 

I believe we have transcended "Governments " they are just appointed puppets .

I'm no fan of Boris or any of his cabinet and I doubt I'll bother voting again.

If Labour were anti lockdown and pro British workers like they were originally then I might back them.

Labour want a serf class of immigrants that will blindly keep voting for them to get free stuff .

They go out of their way to exclude straight white British men at the expense of everyone else based on their Marxist critical race theory and intersectionality.

When it was just a few mad students speaking like this you could easily dismiss it and ignore it but now they actively campaign on these ideas.

Labour are the enemy of the British family so the Tory scum don't need to try most of us will vote for them because they at least lie to us before ****ing us Labour are too dumb to hide it .

Scotland is and always has been one of the most strategicly placed nation in the world. It's natural resources are vast. There is very little to compare it with the likes of Denmark. We have much more going for us than them.

If ever there was a country on the planet that has the resources to be a successful independent nation It's Scotland.

All we need to do is unshackle ourselves from the maniacs next door.

The other thing about Scotland is that they don't need a defence budget. Unless you think Norway or Denmark are a threat then they have no potential enemies. The remnants of the UK will serve as a buffer because I can't imagine they wouldn't want an kind of foreign takeover of an adjoining country.

 

These natural resources you speak of, going forward, we’re talking wind and wave right? Just that we got that too in the south. Was amused reading the comments on that article where a scotch suggested they could raise more money by charging England 500% more for energy.

Scotland already exports energy to the rest of the UK but no, I wasn't talking about renewable energy. Although we do well in that area.

I was talking about oil,gas, fish, wood, coal. Ffs we even have gold.

We have all sorts of good stuff .

Scotland will have a military. We will take our % of the British military with us. We will also do a deal. You get Trident and we will have a few frigates and destroyers over and above what you already owe us.
