You're either too thick to grasp the argument, or so desperate to 'win' you refuse to see it. My guess is it's a combination of the two. As yet, you haven't actually explained why they failed, but please don't embarrass yourself by trying.

There are issues with the infrastructure. Rather than invest in rectifying them, they chose to put their resources into wind turbines, but failed to apply the appropriate measures to those turbines to account for the predicted weather patterns.

The science and engineering solutions were very clear when they did that, so if profits were the goal, it implies they are also crap at basic economics.

Well you could say that but it was a Maradona display against Lichtenstein type of display. She was playing naibdy.

I had already mentioned that electrical switches don’t operate in extremes of temperature, which was the primary root cause, but don’t let facts get in the way.

The largest wind farm in Texas went online in 2009, before the last freeze of 2011 and the subsequent reports suggesting major investment was needed in the infrastructure, so they haven’t chosen to put the resources into wind turbines, the turbines were already there...another pesky fact eh?

As Toby has already explained, power generation is privately owned in Texas, so it’s hardly likely that the different technologies will provide the funding to upgrade each other’s infrastructure...economics 101...yet another pesky fact.

See where we’re going with this...you started out by blaming Greta (as another poster put) but it’s been proved that simply isn’t true.
Anyways, as much fun as it’s been watching you fail again, I’ve got better things to do. I’m sure you will want the last word, so fill your boots.

You are desperately trying to defend a system that demonstrably failed. You are ignoring most of the science and engineering reasons. You've chucked in what you thought were valid points, and then tried to distance yourself from your own points when you can see they are ridiculous.

It's clear you don't care how much you embarrass yourself and show your ignorance, as long as somewhere along the way, you can try to reinvent my position in the hope it shows you were right about something for once in your sad little life. :emoticon-0100-smile

Your argument falls apart, because despite all the justifications you try to offer, the system demonstrably failed, and the ill-considered allocations of funds to poorly thought out resources is a significant factor. A significant reason for that was the lack of a considered scientific and engineering approach, in favour of politics and ideologies.

Those facts may be uncomfortable to you, but there it is.

99% of this, is money paid to staff and his office costs. Every London MP claims large amounts.

He's a ****ing retard mate. He comes out with total bollocks and when you shoot him down in flames he totally backtracks or makes shìt up or goes of on a tangent as If people haven't seen or can't remember what he previously posted.

There is absolutely no point in continuing to interact with him on this subject. It only leads to multi page tedium where he squirms embarrassingly.

Better to wait until his next bout of bullshìttery and rip the pish out of him for that for a few posts.

Believe me, you won't have to wait long.

Were you looking in a mirror when you wrote that, or did you mean it to be aimed at pieguts, as it clearly fits you both to a tee, and is miles off the mark for me.

After their attempted blocking of vaccine exports to Australia, it looks like the EU,are now going cap in hand and begging the US for some of the vaccine Trump's administration created.

Thank **** we're out of it.
