We've talked about this several times. I don't live in fear of this virus, I do wear a mask on public transport and in shops but would never wear one outdoors as i'm not a spastic. Took flights last summer and booked my flights for this summer too.

This is quite clearly wrong and the logic of the folk who don't understand economics.

If you gave everyone £100k then inflation would wipe out the "value" of the money and poverty would move in tandem with it.

Stick to schooling globe earth fantasists.

Why do you wear a mask in shops?

I wear a mask because I don't want a ****ing fine. The region of Andalusia has made something like €22 million out of fines so far. When all this first started, they were trying to fine me €700 for swimming in the sea ffs. I said no way Pedro and talked my way out of it though.

And? I live in Glasgow, had the longest restrictions anywhere in the UK and I don't wear a mask in shops despite it being the law here for longer.

    Do you believe masks work?
Do you believe in asymptomatic spread?
Do you believe that children need to be masked to go to school?

The market is rigged by the State so that's exactly what would happen and would happen in a "free market" too.

If I sell a shed for £400 and I make £200 profit from it then suddenly I am £100k better off, then there isn't much point in earning £200 as the real value in the £200 has gone so next shed I sell will be upwards of £100k.

It's basic logic and context. The value is real, fiat currencies are not.

I've never wore a mask since a flight last summer and haven't been fined once for it.

You are a bit wackier than me though and you also live in a country that you speak the same language as the police.

    Bribe!

You are a very cynical chap Baz. This pandemic has broken you. Those payments based on your last 3 years tax returns have turned you into a bitter bitter man.

"poverty" is calculated by a relative measure.
