We outsourced our Industry to China years ago the areas we still have are largely automated.

I know someone that works at Green King and you can run an entire line with one person

The fork truck driver loads on either kegs or bottles and the machine fills the bottles puts lids on them , robots stack the full boxes and shrink wrap the pallets .

The fork truck driver picks the finished product and loads them on trucks .

They need an engineer and a robot polisher/cleaner .

We have already been trained to beep our own groceries at the check out reducing staff in shops and restaurants.

Driverless cars and buses will kill the taxi driver industry.

 

To be fair, there's a fair few taxi's around here that haven't had human drivers for years.
